In the Spring of 2005, I met a lovely southern boy from Mississippi. We dated for a while, talking on the phone and visiting
with each other mostly on the weekends. As things would turn out, I found out on May 14th that I am pregnant. Not exactly
planned, but decided that I will roll with it.
I took an at-home pregnancy test, one of the "tests for dummies" kinds. It doesn't come back with one line
or two, or pink or blue, it is digital and it simply displays, "Pregnant" or "Not Pregnant." Mine, obviously,
said "Pregnant."
Once I saw the result, I found a whole part of me that I never knew existed. A part of me that wanted to be a mother, that
desired to bring a child into this world, a hope that maybe, my child, can make this world a better place. The following
quote comes into mind: You may only be one person in the world, but you may mean the world to one person.

This site is for people to keep updated on the progress of the pregnancy and birth. Peoples' lives are obviously very busy,
as is mine. Keeping in touch isn't always easy, and time easily escapes us. I guess this will be an example of what a blessing
technology can be, and on the flip side, what a curse, since it means that you don't really have to contact me to be updated.
Please read on and feel free to post any comments or ideas!
